Obituary of Vincent A. Genovese
Vincent A. Genovese, age 85 of Norwalk, died on June 20 at Norwalk Hospital with his loving family by
his side. Vincent was born on April 3, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY. He was the son of Vincent A. and Rachel
(Giordano) Genovese, and was married to Janet Hutchison Genovese for the past 44 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Catherine. He is survived by his sister Susan Wakeman (Ken), his brothers William (Dale), and Frank (Rachel) and many loving nieces and nephews.
Vince spent most of his career in sales at the Burndy Corporation and later at the Amphenol
Corporation. He and his wife enjoyed travel and spending time with family and friends. Vince was loved
by many and will be greatly missed by many.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, June 26, 2023 at St. Jerome Church, 23 Half Mile Rd,
Norwalk at 11:00 a.m. The burial will be held at Lakeview Cemetery in New Canaan.
