You have my sincere condolences @ the Renda Family, he was a great employer. I worked for him as a supervisor at his check cashing stores, he was the most generous and caring person. He will be missed by me and my entire family.

It was a pleasure being your Admin at Avis for a few years before you decided to explore other opportunities. You were a down to earth person and always smiling and having fun. It was a pleasure speaking with you when you called the office from time to time. Condolences to Patty, Jessica and John and all your family and friends. Rest In Peace

The Dovi family extends their deepest condolences to Patty, Jessica and John for their loss. Over the last 25 years, John and I have relived and laughed about our experiences at Avis. However, one story that I never forgot was in response to my inquiry about John’s Vietnam War experience. He told me, flippantly, that when you receive your draft card you are to go to the draft board. The draft card notice would come with subway tokens for the trip to the draft board. You would receive two tokens, one for the trip to the draft board and one for the return trip home, if the draft board didn’t think you would qualify. You would receive one token if they figured you would be drafted. John received one token. John, thank you for your service to our country. Rest in peace my good Paisano.

Patty and the Renda Family. I am so sorry to hear of John's passing. John was one of the first business connections in my Avis life, that turned into a dear friend and I will miss him. John also decided that I should have the name "Neil-Boy" instead of just Neil! My love, thoughts and prayers to you all. Neil-Boy.

Some of the memories of Uncle John that I cherish are the times when we would talk about what he and my dad did when they were young…one of my last conversations with Uncle John was talking about if he and my dad used to work out…he said that they had a bench in the basement and later worked out in a neighborhood gym

My condolences to my sister in law Patty, my niece Jessica and my godson Johnny, I’ve know John for over 65 years, since our families have known each other for over 90 years . We shared a lot of family celebrations, especially when i married his brother Charles in 1972, John was our best man. John was a great brother in law and a dear friend. I will miss his one line jokes and advice in many situations. God bless him and his family , Rest In Peace, you have done your job well John,
