I had the opportunity to work with Russell over the years and always found him willing to listen to any idea I had. He was a true gentleman and a consummate professional who always was supportive and kind. I will miss our phone calls and his brilliance. Russell will be in my prayers until we meet again in God's hands.

I met Russell when he was still in high school and had the pleasure of watching him grow into the ultra-successful man I always knew he was. He will be missed.

Russell was a man of great stature. His decency and kindness exceeded his stature by an order of magnitude. He always had a ready smile, kind word and humorous story to share. He was helpful to me in full measure when I asked for his help.
Russ, Rich Aquan, Dave Moriarty and I commuted together to and from New York City for many, many years. We always had a good time. Some of the best friendships emerge from those twice daily encounters. Russell's last kindness extended to me was his invitation to lunch upon my retirement late last year. It was the last time I saw him, along with Dave and Rich, when the four Metro North intrepid commuters had our last lunch at Cactus Rose together.
I treasure his friendship and I will miss him always. My heartfelt condolences to his family.

For many years I would see Russ every morning at the Wilton train station before our daily journey to the city. Despite the early hour Russ was always upbeat and delightful company. He would share some tidbits on the progress of the children or an entertaining story about business trips to Aruba. When Covid stopped the commuting, Russ would join long time fellow commuters Rich Aquan and Nick Battista and me for a catch up lunch as we had become friends beyond the train ride.
I will really miss Russ as will everyone who had the pleasure of getting to know him. My prayers go out to the family.
