Jeff and I were classmates and friends at Holy Cross where he was much admired for his intellect, sense of humor and humility. It was my great good fortune to have attended Jeff and Betty’s marriage where I met my future wife, Jeanne, a girlhood friend of Betty’s. Since that time Jeanne and I have felt a special bond to this wonderful couple. In his chosen profession Jeff was a titan. But more importantly, Jeff lived his life in accordance with the best of Jesuit values. He is much loved and will be sorely missed because he was such a thoroughly good man. Jeanne and I send our condolences and love to Betty and the family. John and Jeanne Harley

Jeff and Betty's son was in the same class as our daughter Leigh at Williams, and Alison and I had the opportunity to see them at graduation and other events. Jeff was also a regular at Dave Martel's annual New York dinner, and it was always great to catch up with him and hear about his outstanding career. An outstanding guy. Joe Winter

Uncle Jeff was a great man I always enjoyed our yearly trips with my family up to Connecticut for Thanksgiving it was probably one of my favorite holidays and helping my aunt cook the gravy which I thought was the most important part as a child lol Sitting on the couch while we watch the football game and eating until we were all stuffed another one of my favorite memories is that when i was a kid I went with my uncle to take your daughter to work day and I went to the city with him to his job at MetLife it was such an exciting thing as a kid i could still remember the time I spent with him….. I’m also grateful for the last Thanksgiving we had together two years ago when me and my siblings were able to go I will forever remeber these memories and uncle Jeff will be truly missed
