Barry was a great friend and neighbor for many years! He was a kind gentleman with a great sense of humor and also a very talented musician. He attracted many fans to Alfanos as he played his bass along with Karen at the piano. He told us colorful stories about his life as a musician, from his recitals and competitions involving the cello, his performance at Carnegy Hall with the Indian Chiefs, and his long association with the Black Eagle Jazz Band. He will be missed by all who have had the good fortune to get to know him and hear his music.
