Sincere condolences to Don and all of the family, you will miss her a lot. I have lovely memories of my visit to Jeanne and Don's Connecticut in 1998 when I was staying in New Jersey. It's been interesting to read about her early life in the Obituary.
Eternal rest grant onto her
Mary Cryan (Edinburgh) and all the Cryans in Dublin.

I never knew a time when I did not know the Hersam's. Don Sr was my Dad's good friend, Edward M Janis. My heartfelt sympathies to husband, Don, and all the family. She was a remarkable woman and Jeanne and Don were a wonderful couple. God bless you all.

My very first memory of Jeanne was in 1979, my first week at the NCA office. I was working in the front office and kept noticing
this beautiful blonde coming over from next door, NCPM. This 'blonde' would come thru our office and go straight into the
Publisher's office, totally unannounced, sometimes behind closed doors. This went on several times before I asked a co-worker,
Susan Kiernan, "who is that blonde that keeps marching into the bosses office unannounced"? Susan looked straight into my eyes and said "Mrs. Hersam".
In my 30+ yrs, at NCA, I've watched their children grow, get married, and have babies. When my husband passed away, I was adopted into the family. Don & Jeanne took me under their wing and Jeanne made sure I was included with the rest of the family, in weddings, birthdays, etc.
Jeanne, you were the epitome of a loving wife, an attentive mom who held the family together thru thick and thin. Your style and grace was a shining example for wives and mothers everywhere.
