Mrs. St. Clair graduated from Packard Business School and worked as an Assistant Buyer for JC Penney in New York City. She married Jack B. St. Clair in 1946, supporting his rise to Executive Vice-President of Shell Oil Company and President of Shell Chemical Company.

For the latter, she received the “Outstanding New Senior” award from the New Canaan Volunteer Center. She was an active member of PEO, the New Canaan Woman’s Club, Meals on Wheels, Waveny Care Center, Woodway Country Club, and the New Canaan Congregational Church.
In addition to her husband Jack St. Clair, she is survived by her children, Nancy St. Clair of New Canaan, Barbara St. Clair of Dallas and Glenn St. Clair of Fredericksburg, TX; grandchildren Jennifer Holland of New Canaan, Jackson Elliott St. Clair of Dallas; and great-grandson Henry Holland of New Canaan. She will be deeply missed by all.
