Obituary of Elsie B. Spinosa
Elsie Spinosa, age 98, longtime New Canaan resident died peacefully Tuesday morning October 13, 2020 at the Autumn Lakes Nursing Home in Norwalk, Connecticut. Elsie was born in Darien, Connecticut Jan. 21, 1922. She was the wife of the late Nicholas J. Spinosa and moved to New Canaan when they married in January 1947.
Elsie worked at the New Canaan Advertiser for many years and then worked as the bookkeeper for the Hicks and Sturges Law Firm. She was a member of the New Canaan Congregational Church.
Elsie is survived by her 3 children, Laura Spinosa of Boca Raton, FL, Nicholas Spinosa (Gayle) of Tampa, FL and Pamela Zimmerman (Roger) of Saratoga, CA, 3 grandchildren, Eric Spinosa, Leisha Collins and Zachary Spinosa and 3 great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 services will be private.
