Terry Lee Durling, 67, of New Canaan, CT passed away on May 16, 2014 at Stamford Hospital with her loving family by her side. Terry was born on February 23, 1947 in Norwalk, CT to the late Ralph and Mary Lynch Durling. Terry was a lifelong resident of New Canaan, CT and a graduate of New Canaan High School. See received a nursing degree at Norwalk Community college and began work at Stamford hospital. She later graduated from Sacred Heart University and became a Registered Nurse with a lengthy career at Stamford Hospital Emergency Room and also the Hospice Center. Her favorite hobbies were needle work, knitting and her nieces and nephews. Survivors include her nephew Louis B. Weber and his wife Lisabeth A. Weber of Newtown, Bruce M. Weber of Hamden, Beau Durling of Delray beach Florida, Michael Gragg of the State of Oklahoma. Additional survivors include her loving nieces and nephews Brian M. Weber, Andrew L. Weber, Sarah C. Weber and Jessica L. Weber. She was predeceased by her brother Ralph L. Durling and her sister Laura E. Weber. The family will receive friends at Hoyt Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 from 4-8pm.
