My sincere condolences Lorraine and to the rest of your family. I remember your mom when we would carpool to CCHS. She was so sweet and had a very long life. She finally has joined your dad. I have you and your brother in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Lorraine, Fred and families. Who can ever forget the summers at Kiwanis Park, hanging out in the downstairs of your home, your mom's cooking, cups of coffee and generous spirit. She was always interested in our life's adventures and offered her warm and loving support. While God blessed her with a long and giving life, her absence will be felt by all of us, especially you and Fred. A parent could not have asked for better children than you two. Your care, compassion, patience and steadfast support especially over the last couple of years was beyond remarkable and not something we see in our world everyday. We can never duplicate the acceptance and embrace of your family, but we know having you in our lives made our lives better. As you transition forward I know you believe that life has not ended but has changed and we now have a great group of "New Canaan" parents watching over us for the remainder of our time together. John, my brother Steve and sister Jo-Ann offer our heartfelt sympathy and wish you God's peace.

Lorraine, I have so many years of precious memories of growing up together and being at your house so often. Your Mom always had something good cooking on the stove. I also remember seeing her at the New Canaan Library so often too. We are so lucky to have grown up together and and to have had such loving parents. You know, not long ago my Dad and I were talking about Grandpa Walsh and I was telling Dad about all the stories your Dad told me about Grandpa Walsh training your Dad as a rookie cop. I am so happy for the love and a continuing lifetime of wonderful years with you and your family. My deepest sympathies to you. You are my dearest of friends and I wish you love and blessings always, Kathy
