Dad - you would be so proud of these two boys - Michael busy working in finance and Jackson a net zero architect, soon off to Germany. Miss you and our talks.

Hans was one of the most interesting people I’ve ever met. He seemed to know a little bit about everything, was extremely curious, and an incredible listener. Every time I saw him I learned something, about China, the “markets”, England after WWII, stock tips! His passion for life, endless curiosity, and quest for knowledge inspired me to put down my phone and engage with the world around me. I feel so fortunate to have met him.

I had the privilege of having Hans as my boss, back in the 1970s. Hans was full of life and ideas, always engaging and charming. I regret that he was never able to purchase his favorite sports car, a Morgan. Farewell my friend, you will be missed.
