So terribly sorry to hear about Dan's passing. He and I appeared in many plays together in New Canaan. In fact, my first lead role was Sherlock Holmes in The Hound of the Baskervilles, and Dan was Doctor Watson! He was always a consummate professional and a wonderful actor. More importantly, he was a true gentleman and I learned a great deal by observing him. I will miss him and his gentle nature. My sincerest condolences to his family at this difficult time.
We are so sorry to hear of Danny’s passing. He was a fine man, kind and marvelously talented. I (Ugo) had the good fortune of directing him in a critically, well-received production of “ That Championship Season” for Rainbow Theatre at the Rich Forum. Those accolades were mostly due to a strong cast, headed by Danny’s powerful performance as the “Coach”. We extend our condolences to the family. There is no doubt that Danny will be missed. - Ugo and Linda Toppo
We knew Dan from his days at Chatham Walk in New Canaan. He was one of the nicest people you would ever meet; always a kind word for everyone. He helped all of us non-lawyers through the rewriting of our bylaws, carefully and patiently explaining the legalese we had to cope with. It was a sad day when Dan finally had to move and now an even sadder day that he is no longer with us. Our condolences to DJ and family.
