Obituary of Bruce Joseph Major
Bruce Joseph Major, age 62, a longtime resident of New Canaan died peacefully, Tuesday February 12, 2019. Born in Rockville Center, NY October 3, 1956 he was the son of the late Russell and Geraldine Noone Major.
A well-known player of football and hockey at NCHS,he was also an avid Giants and Yankees fan and loved watching his sports. Bruce also enjoyed barbecuing with his kids and being with friends.
Bruce is survived by his three sons, JR, Jack, and Finn all of New Canaan, and a sister Joyce Bradley of Arizona.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Douglas, and Russell, Jr.
A memorial service will be scheduled for a later date this spring.
