Obituary of Robert Daniel Misomali
Robert “Bob” Daniel Misomali, age 31, of Stamford Connecticut, passed away peacefully
on January 27, 2019, in Houston,Texas. He was born on February 5, 1987 in Tanzania,
to the late Daniel Misomali and late Rose Misomali (nee Chakoma).
Bob was an amazing athlete and a force to be reckoned with on the basketball court. If he wasn't on the court, he was perfecting his six pack at the local gym. Bob was also a human calculator. He had a way of understanding numbers that was alien to his siblings. He was multi-lingual, speaking English, Chichewa, Russian, and a whole lot of foreign slang. Bob had an infectious smile and a great sense of humor that was a natural source of entertainment to those around him. He faced the trials of life head on, always believing God had his back. Bob was loving to his family, fiercely loyal to his friends, and deeply compassionate to others. His magnetic personality made him many friends across the globe. He was greatly adored and admired by his nephews and nieces. He was their favorite. His aunts didn’t stand a chance with the kids when he was around. Before being able to pronounce 'Uncle', his first niece affectionately called him "Apple Bob” and then later "Cherry Bob” by his second niece. He will always be loved and never forgotten.
Robert is survived by his sisters Blessings Misomali of New Canaan, Edith and Stella Misomali of Stamford, and his brother Raymond (Jennifer) of Malawi and their children Tyler, Caleb, Elayna and Olivia.
He is predeceased by his parents and his brother Davie Misomali.
