Obituary of Carole A. Quinn
Carole A. Quinn, 87, of New Canaan, CT passed away on January 26, 2019 unexpectedly at Norwalk Hospital with her loving family by her side. Carole was born on November 29, 1931 in Bronx, NY to the late George and Grace Badolati Quinn.
Carole graduated from the College of New Rochelle and Fairfield University with degrees in education. She worked for the Greenwich school system and spent almost all of her career at Riverside School where she enjoyed many happy years working with young children. During her summers off she looked forward to traveling with family and friends or spending time at the beach.
In addition to her parents, Carole was pre-deceased by her brother George R. Quinn of Newtown Ct. She is survived by her nephew Eric Quinn and sister-in-law Kathleen McIlrath Quinn both of Newtown.
A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Carole’s life will be held at St. Aloysius Church, New Canaan, CT on Monday, February 4, 2019 at 10:30am. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY. In lieu of flowers contributions in Carole’s memory can be made to the Connecticut Humane Society, 455 Post Road East, Westport, CT 06880-4435.
