Obituary of Kathleen M. Lennon
It is with deep sorrow the family of Kathleen (Kathy) Margaret Lennon, age 83, announces her peaceful death that occurred on Monday January 14, 2019. Kathleen was born September 17, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Kathleen Dalton Kelly.
Kathy will be forever missed by her daughter, Mary Lennon Keane, son-in-law, John Keane and her four grandchildren (who meant the world to her), Ryan, Meaghan, Kristin and Michael, and fondly remembered by her numerous nieces and nephews. Kathleen was predeceased by her loving husband of 53 years Robert Lennon and sister Mary Kelly. Though it is with great sadness Kathleen’s family says goodbye, they are comforted by the idea that Kathy joined her beloved Bobby on what would have been their 63th wedding anniversary.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019 at 10:30 am, at St. Aloysius Church, New Canaan, CT. Friends may call on January 17, 2019 from 3:00 pm-7:00pm at the Hoyt Funeral Home, 199 Main Street, New Canaan, CT. Interment to follow funeral mass at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Valhalla, NY.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that those who desire may make a memorial donation to the National Parkinson’s Foundation, in honor of Kathleen’s husband Bobby Lennon.
