Obituary of Sharon R. Dolan
Sharon Rose Dolan, 60, of New Canaan, CT, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2018. She was born on March 9, 1958 in Chicago, Ill to the late Raymond and M. Theresa (Voci) Dolan.
As a child, Sharon lived in Minnesota and South Dakota before coming to Stamford, CT with her family. She attended Holy Spirit Catholic Elementary School, was an active member of the local Girl Scout Troup and was a volunteer as a Candy Striper at The Smith House in Stamford, CT.
Sharon is a graduate from Stamford Catholic High School (now Trinity Catholic High School), Class of 1976.
During her career, Sharon worked at Practical Automation (Milford, CT) as a Purchasing Manager.
Sharon is survived by her brother Paul Dolan (Mary Anne), Ron Dolan (Linda), and Donald Dolan. Sharon is further survived by her niece Randi, and nephews Ryan, Christopher, Nicholaus, Geoffrey and Sheridan Dolan and Marty Curry.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 1:00pm at St. Aloysius Church, 21 Cherry St. New Canaan, CT 06840. Entombment will follow at the Lakeview Cemetery, Main St., New Canaan. Family and friends may call at the Hoyt Funeral Home at 199 Main St, New Canaan, CT 06840 on Saturday, January 5, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30pm.
