Mr.Bahna was a wonderful boss who showed kindness and fairness to all his employee at Cunard during my time there 1975-1985. It was a great environment, we were a family. I remember being down at the pier very late one night after an embarkation and he insisted that we girls took his limo home. I think its when the Princess first sailed. He left his mark in the travel industry, creating wonderful innovations for the traveler. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten. My sympathies to his family.

My deepest sympathies to Mr. Bahna's family and friends.
I worked for Cunard from 1972-1995, and the only reason Cunard has survived was thanks to Mr. Bahna's leadership and vision to turn the company around and to have Cunard set policies & standards for cruising that is still viable today. I know my fellow Cunarders share this loss as well.

aaAs CEO of Cunard, Ralph was very supportive of Landry & Kling in our early years in NYC, and I have fond memories of the "Inner Circle" programs initiated during his tenure. As a real visionary, he paved the way for our dockside charter with QE2 in Boston, 1987, that brought Cunard global publicity. May he rest in peace.

Ralph Bahna was a true gentleman in every sense of the word. He was an outstanding business leader and an even better person. One of the true highlights of my business career was to work with Ralph to achieve some of his objectives in the formative years of Club Quarters. Deepest condolences to his family, friends and associates.

I am saddened to learn of Ralph's passing. It came as a shock and surprise to me. Just last fall, Ralph invited my wife and I to join he and his family at their table at the Connecticut game tailgate. He looked great then and he was is very good spirits. Ralph was a freshman at Michigan in the Sigma Chi fraternity house when I as President. I always enjoyed Ralph and I appreciated his intelligence, his quite determination and his engaging smile. You just knew he would be a wrestling champion some day, and he was. It was only a few years ago that I reconnected with Ralph and we enjoyed our limited time together. God bless you, Ralph and my heartfelt condolences to his family.
