Letitia Jeanette Corr, 95, long time resident of Wilton, CT, passed away on January 20, 2013. Letitia was born on September 17, 1917 in Wilton, CT to the late Charles and Amelia Geyer Roche. Letty was a graduate of New Canaan High School and New Britain State Teachers College and taught in the Wilton school system for twenty five years. She was an accomplished athlete and was the second woman inducted into the New Canaan High School Sports Hall of Fame. She remained an avid fan of Wilton sports teams for many years. Bowling was another interest and she did this competitively well into her eighties. Her main love was her family, and she treasured her time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was a joy to all and will be deeply missed, but lovingly remembered. Survivors of Letitia include two sons, C. Alan Corr and wife, Deborah, of Sacramento, CA and Daniel M. Corr and wife, Pamela, of Boynton Beach, FL, one daughter, Letitia Kenefic and husband, Jay, of Bethel, CT. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren – Jonathan, Sarah, and Andrew Corr, Samantha Corr-Florez, Jack and Jason Faragher and their spouses Lisa, Nadia, Alberto, Julie, and Suzanne, and 8 Great grandchildren – Jessica, Ryan, Sarah, Alex, Chase, Cade, Callie, and Ella.. In addition to her husband, Letitia was pre-deceased by her son LT. John G. Corr. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday January 26, 2013 at 11:00 Am at Lakeview Cemetery, New Canaan.
