Jean Cooper Obituary

Jean M. Cooper of Naples, Florida, formerly of Stamford, CT, age 79, passed away on April 4, 2009 at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York after a short illness. She is survived by her husband, William S. Cooper, former President of W. C. Industries of Stamford, CT., three children, William, Jr., Russell, and Cathrine Roesch and seven grandchildren. She was born in Peru, Illinois and lived in Hartford, Connecticut and attended Purdue University, graduating in 1952 with a BS in Science. She was a former Regent of The Daughters of The American Revolution. She worked with Eastern Foods Co. of Connecticut and among her clients were GE, IBM and Group W Westinghouse. Later she formed her own company and was Vice President of Food artist. After retirement, Jean published her cook book called, Food Artist. A memorial service is planned for family members in June 2009. In Lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Lung Association, 45 Ash Street, East Hartford, CT 06108.
