Elena F. Fanone, age 100, a longtime resident of New Canaan died Tuesday evening December 18, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in December 3, 1912 in Settafrate, Italy, She was the daughter of the late Oracio and Maria Frattaroli . Elena was the wife of the late Cesare Fanone who died in 2010. She is survived by a son, Mario and his wife Cesarina Fanone of New Canaan and two grandchildren Carlo Fanone and Anna Ferraro. Three great-grandchildren, Antonio Mario, Matthew Carlo and Jackson Rene also survive A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday December 22, 2012 at 11:00Am at St Aloysius Church, Cherry Street, New Canaan with entombment in St John Cemetery, Norwalk.
