Bruce was a great man. He was a mentor to me since the age of 17 and has always had a positive influence on my life. I met Bruce in FL in 1981. He will be missed by me.

I had no idea and no one passed on this very sad news to me. He was so unbelievably warm to me and with so many he was close to. I will miss him and can only offer my condolences to his loving and wonderful family.

I'm so sad to hear of Bruce's death. I met him in connection with the development of the Alice Ball House. He was clearly already ill but so passionate about finding common ground and being fair. His equanimity and moral compass were palpable. I feel so sad to have lost this wonderful human. I am sure those he was closest to carry his noble spirit. I feel fortunate to have known him briefly.
With highest respect and profound sadness,
Linda Powell
