Our flowers, your flowers came up again this spring and they are as beautiful as ever. And they are nearby to where you got married! We were so happy to see them again and to say "Patty's flowers" in unison. In fact my neighbor had some memorial bulbs also and she planted together with yours so its a wonderful shared area that we all enjoy. You are not alone and never will be! Love always, Heis & Maria

I just learned of Patty's death. We worked together at NBC News in NYC and I knew her when she lived here in L.A. Patty was one of the most kind and thoughtful people I've ever known. My wife and I still have the wedding gift she sent us from NYC more than 20 years ago. I'll never forget the good times at NBC News in NYC. Especially that night we ran down the hallways at 30 Rock, for absolutely no reason, but to have fun. My heart is so sad for her family.

this is a very sad, sad event for me to have only discovered now. Patty was one of the most "vital" people I ever knew. I wondered where and what she had been up to these past couple of years...and am saddened for the Loonie family for this turn of events. She left a deep and memorable impression on me...and I have to assume that her passion and her just plain goodness was passed on to her progeny. Too soon. A lovely woman. My condolences.

While I will always remember Patty as lovely person to be around, a wonderful mom and an accomplished producer, it is the way she completed Bob and vice versa that will stay with me forever. It is a wonderful thing to see two people so deeply in love and perfect for one another. Their time together is a blessing than can never be taken away. Love, John

Bob - Words alone cannot express my sympathy on the untimely death of your beloved wife. To say that her time with us was far too short is an understatement. The reality is that she will be sorely missed by all who loved and knew her. No doubt the outpouring of sympathy you have received since her parting has been of some consolation. Hopefully it will serve as a reminder to you of how well-loved and liked she was. I hope that you and your family will find peace and comfort in knowing that her suffering is over and that her just rewards await her. May God bless you and your family. Albert

Patty was a very special part of a very special chapter in my life. I'll never forget her passion for the news and her amazing ability to identify people who succumbed to her charms nd agreed to come on air at times of crisis and distress. She was really one of "the good ones..." I'll miss her a lot....

I am so sad to hear of Patty's death. Patty and I started working at NBC together in 1984 and our careers were parallel for many years. I have such wonderful memories of working with her; sharing chinese food on the overnights; laughing at her sharp wit, admiring her intelligence and her great charm and grace. My deepest condolences to her family.
