Bill- Just learned of your Dad's passing. Had many good tennis matches with him on the Woodway courts. What an athlete and competitor. Hope that as I get older, my games improves to his level. Regards, FXM

Uncle Bill: I spent the day thinking remembering, smiling and laughing. I remember bouncing around in the back seat of that Mercury, or waving up to your Dad’s window every time my Mom took me to the Inwood library. Dropping over to Westchester for day visits and staying a week (or two), waking up in Greenwood Lake and finding out I’d be staying all summer, showing up at Lakeside in August and finding out you’d signed me up for Supervised Play and I was on the traveling team. Being bored and having you shoot some basketball or bringing out your “Baseball Joe“ books to pass the time. Learning that a glance or nod can communicate 1000 words, no matter the message. Coming by the house in Colorado to go to mass. “Sit down front. They put chairs there; didn’t they? Besides we’re good looking.” That last walk down the Isham Park hill to Grandma’s mass with June Ann and Jeanne. It meant a lot. Big hellos and long goodbyes are not your trademark. Being there. I love you Uncle Bill. Jimmy
