Lucille Corrado Obituary
With profound sadness and so much love, we announce the peaceful passing on May 19, 2026, of Lucille (Calimano) Corrado, at the extraordinary age of 99 and a half.
While our hearts are heavy with loss, we are forever grateful for the long & loving life she shared with her family and friends.
Lucille was born on November 9, 1926, in Brooklyn, New York, to Joseph and Lucy Calimano. She was the middle sister between two brothers, Joseph and Herbert.
Lucille was predeceased by her adoring & adored husband, Fred. Married in 1948 and together for 62 years, Lucille supported Fred as he built a career in construction management that took them around the country. In their later years, they loved traveling the world, especially Italy.
Together they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and devotion to their family, especially their children Diane (who predeceased Lucille) and Fred (Lisa).
Lucille was the proud grandmother of Justin (Lauren) and Lauren. She treasured her great-grandchildren Emma and Katie. Lucille relished her role as the family matriarch and loved her cousins, nieces & nephews and their children.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers at Maplewood Strawberry Hill who made Lucille’s last year’s so special.
