Stephen DeNittis, 74, of Norwalk, CT passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 28th, 2025. He was born on June 13th,1951 in New York City, the son of the late George DeNittis and Mary (Dobbins) DeNittis.

Stephen was a devoted fan of all things sports, especially his beloved Yankees, Rangers and New York Giants. Whether cheering from the stands or rooting from his favorite chair, Stephen's enthusiasm for the game was infectious and brought joy to everyone around him.

For many years, Stephen thrived as part of the STAR, Inc. community in Connecticut, where he found friendship, purpose, and a second family. At Stoler House, where he resided for many years, Stephen was cherished by residents and staff alike. His family is forever grateful to STAR and to the entire Stoler House team, whose compassion and dedication enriched Stephen's life immeasurably. The house manager, Sharon, in particular, shared a close bond with Stephen and brought him much comfort and happiness. The devoted staff at Stoler House became family to Stephen, caring for him with love and dignity every day.

Stephen's warmth and gentle spirit touched countless lives. He is survived by his sister Parker and her husband Alex, his niece Meredith and grand-niece Fiona, as well as his many friends and extended family at Stoler House, all of whom loved him dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be held on November 19 2025 at 11am at Hoyt Funeral Home.
