Obituary of Kathleen Marie Mannello

Kathleen M. Mannello, 61, of South Salem, NY died at home with her loving family by her side
on June 28, 2025 after a 14 month stoic journey with cancer.

Kathleen was born on August 1, 1963 in Philadelphia, PA. The daughter of James and Isabelle
Casey, Kathleen is survived by her brother James Casey and his wife Rose of Cheltenham, PA,
brother William Casey of Staten Island, NY, brother Joseph Casey of Plymouth Meeting, PA, and
sister Marie Casey of Cochranville, PA. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Eleanor
Mannello of Waterbury, CT, brother-in-law Luke Mannello and wife Debra of Waterbury, CT,
sister-in-law Teresa Mannello and husband Eric, of Berlin, CT, and sister-in-law Elizabeth
Engelhard and husband David of Blandford, MA. There are many nieces, nephews, and even
grand nieces and a grand nephew who survive Kathleen and will cherish a very remarkable
Aunt.

Kathleen married Stephen Mannello in 1995 but she and Stephen were together for 33
wonderful years. Kathleen enjoyed a very successful career in the fashion industry and
brought the same level of passion to raising their two children, Dante and Isabelle.
Kathleen, Stephen and their family enjoyed traveling but the Jersey shore is where Kathleen’s
favorite book of memories was written. In fact, Kathleen defied her illness and managed to
travel four hours to and from the Jersey shore for one last family vacation just one month before
her passing.

Extremely proud of her Irish heritage and all things Philly, Kathleen was true to her roots, her
family, her faith and her friends.
