Tom and I taught at Brunswick in the Middle School for many years. He was a special teacher for so many young men. He taught me a lot about life and how to connect with boys. We played paddle and tennis many times and in fact, I can still remember Tom and I taking on two teachers half our age and giving them a lesson. He always conducted himself with grace and composure. He was a class act in every way. I am shocked that I will not see him again. My condolences to the Brayton family.

Grandad,
It's unfortunate circumstances led to me not getting the opportunity to grow up with you in my life. I wish I could have been able to get to know you better and to be a part of your life. I'll never know what memories we could have made together. I know how much my mom, Paige, cared about you and loved you and how much you meant to her. I pray you are in a better place now and had a wonderful life while here with us. I love you lots.

Dear Dad,
Unfortunately, the angels took you on 5/17/25. I will miss you every day. Our shared sense of humor bonded us and I am grateful for all of the times we had together, from raking leaves together as a child to you being there for me for my surgery. We both loved setting up the dioramas for the soldiers and I cherish the ones you gave me along with your letter to me. We know what we shared. I love you always Dad.
Your loving daughter,
Paige

Tom Brayton was my one and only cousin. I greatly enjoyed his sense of humor, his work as a teacher, and his knowledge of the Mark family history. I remember last seeing Tom at my mother's 90th birthday. Tom was in fine form at that event, joking with my brother Mike and celebrating this milestone with Friede and all of us Braytons. Rest in peace Tom. You will be sorely missed.
