Joan was an elegant, kind and wonderful person with a great sense of humor. I enjoyed being her partner for playing Canasta. I will miss her. May God rest her soul in peace.

With sadness to learn the passing of Joan. She truly was a woman of grace, brilliance and kindness. I will miss seeing her sitting in her favorite pew at St. Mark's at the 8a service. This year's Mayfair will have a hole at the Jewelry table. She spent countless hours making all so beautiful to sell. It will always be Joan's Corner...God bless Joan and her family and know God has a special Angel in his care.
Peace be with you always..

I loved knowing Joan. She was such a solid personality which I very much appreciated. Although I haven't seen her since before COVID, I am sad she is not in our world anymore. I am sure she will be missed by all that knew her.
With all of my sympathy and prayers,
Sandy Nottingham

My heart is so heavy knowing I won’t see my dear friend again. We attended the 8 am service at St. Marks Church together for years. Her faith was deep and strong as was her love for her family. I love you, Joan.

Joan was always friendly and cheerful. She would always say hello and ask how you were doing. We will really miss her here in New Canaan.
